Sam Reiman

Biography

Sam has been with Inrush since early 2021 and is now one of our Senior Systems Engineers. Sam’s role with inrush has included integrating broadcast equipment, maintaining studio facilities, and leading projects such as large-scale studio builds. His broadcast career started with his role as Station Manager at North Central College’s WONC-FM, where Sam was quickly noticed by the station’s engineering firm and brought on as an engineering intern. He quickly learned the ropes and was brought on as a full-time staff engineer upon graduation. Over the next 6 years, he assisted with full facility rebuilds nationwide, transmission system maintenance, and broadcast IT projects. He has worked in both radio and TV for major players like Hubbard, Weigel Broadcasting, and Entercom. Sam is at his best when he is analyzing and improving workflows. At Weigel he helped integrate multiple Burk remote control systems into one national interface for their 60+ TV stations, helping their small engineering team manage a broad network. Sam’s innate ability to take a deep dive into new topics and become a subject matter expert in short order makes him a major asset on the Inrush team. Sam is a proud lifelong Chicagoan and an active part of the Bridgeport neighborhood.
